When George Bush travels to China for the Olympics, it appears that we won’t have to worry about him saying anything awkward about Tibet—it seems that Stephen Hadley, the President’s top security advisor, can’t quite remember what the problem country is. Apparently, the 58 years since China invaded Tibet haven’t been enough to allow this administration to adapt, or to sort out the suppressed Buddhist Tibetans from the largely Hindu population of the independent kingdom of Nepal.
